Paint in the Dark in Cardiff is a unique masterclass led by a professional where you can let your imagination run wild, have a drink and enjoy the music.

Become a painter for an evening

Step into the workshop and immerse yourself in an arty, fluorescent universe from floor to ceiling. For 1.5 hours, alternate between painting and enjoying a drink (choice of wine, beer, or soft drinks), guided by an artist. With exceptional decor, immersive sound, and an explosion of fluorescent colors, you will learn different painting techniques in a unique immersive setting!

Whether you're an amateur or a talented painter, everyone is welcome! All the necessary materials will be provided on-site, you just need to bring your creativity! Whether alone, with friends, or family, enjoy this moment of relaxation and leave with your masterpiece.

At the beginning of the experience, you'll be served a drink (with or without alcohol): wine, beer or soft drinks… the choice is yours!

THE EXPERIENCE

What is Paint in the Dark and what can I expect?

Paint in the Dark is a unique masterclass led by a professional artist host where you can enjoy a welcome drink with or without alcohol and let your imagination run wild, in a neon-lit retro-futuristic atmosphere.

How long does the experience last?

The experience will last approximately 1.5 hours.

Can I purchase drinks on-site beyond the beverages included in my ticket?

Yes, there is a bar on-site from which you will be able to purchase further beverages during and after the experience.

Do I need to bring my own supplies?

No, we will be providing all the paints and equipment for you.

I have never done a painting class before, do I need to have any skills?

No, this experience is open to any skill level.

Do I need to wear special clothing?

We’ll be providing aprons to cover your clothes. However, we do recommend wearing clothing that you wouldn’t be too upset about getting dirty.

Will there be strobe lights?

No, there will not be any strobe lights.

Will Covid safety regulations be in place on-site?

This experience will follow any COVID safety regulations in place in the UK during the time of the event.

What will happen to my painting at the end of the session?

Your work of art is yours to keep! Warning, the paint might still be wet when you leave, however, we will give you a bag to carry your painting in!

TICKETS

Do I need to print my ticket?

You don’t need to print anything, you only need to show your Fever ticket(s) in the app or email upon arrival at the venue.

Are refunds allowed?

No refunds are allowed. Exchanges to other dates and/or times are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of the originally purchased event and are based on availability. Please contact us here directly to change your ticket.

Can I purchase a ticket at the venue?

Tickets are not available for purchase at the venue. All tickets must be purchased through the app or website (www.feverup.com) before arriving at the event.

Can I transfer my tickets to another person?

Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket on the Fever App. Please contact us for additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.

I can't find my ticket. What should I do?

You can find your QR Code ticket in the Fever app, within the Tickets section. If you haven’t downloaded the app, you can download it from Apple Store or Google Play. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.

How do I book a ticket for my carer?

Carers are welcome at the event for free upon showing the appropriate documentation at the entrance, however, they will be there to assist you rather than participating in the activity. Please note that the guest requiring assistance must have a valid ticket. Here are a few of the documents we accept:Middle or Higher rate DLA for care and/or mobilityReceipt of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)Evidence of being severely sight-impairedCredAbility Access Card – + 1 category requirement

Doors will open 20 minutes before the start time of the experience.

No late entry is permitted as this would disrupt the flow of the class for other attendees.

Yes, there are toilets available on-site, which are cleaned and disinfected regularly.

Is there a Cloakroom/lockers available on site?

No, neither a cloakroom nor lockers are available on-site. However, there will be space next to your tables or at the corners of the room where you can leave your coats/belongings during the experience.

What do I do if I accidentally leave any of my belongings behind at the venue?

If you leave behind any of your belongings at the event you should start by phoning the venue or dropping by to see if your item has been found. If this doesn’t work, please contact us here so that we can contact the venue about your missing item and arrange for you to pick it up from the event location.
